TELEMETRY
Intrepid’s reliable Interrogator™ Pulse Telemetry Platform delivers best-in-class MWD technology and performance. After 20 years of continuous development, this tool has been through several iterations of customized capabilities that make it far superior to its industry competitors. It is specifically designed to perform in the most challenging environments while providing continuous inclination and azimuth, as well as real time motor yields utilizing dual directional modules. Other capabilities include real-time RSS communications using short hop EM, azimuthal gamma, and pressure while drilling. Additional services include at bit inclination, gamma, and resistivity.

With Intrepid’s Interrogator™ electromagnetic telemetry system (XEM), we’re able to offer near-continuous, high-density data in real time. We apply the same rigorous upkeep used to repair and maintain all of our tools, performing a majority of maintenance in-house.

Intrepid owns the industry’s most reliable and proven RSS system, the PowerDrive Orbit, available in all sizes ranging from 5 in. to 8-1/4 in. Our 5-1/4 Orbit RSS systems utilize the Athens A107 connection to provide a robust and durable alternative to the standard V040 connection.
Intrepid’s Orbit RSS systems are equipped with real time downlinking and uplinking capabilities through short hop transmission, providing operations with RT data directly from the RSS. The PowerDrive Orbit RSS is highly versatile, tough, and reliable in a variety of applications.
